Yes, with two rules: don't bid on branded keywords (upfyp, up-fyp, etc.) and don't run misleading creatives (fake reviews, guaranteed results promises). Any fraudulent activity triggers a commission review.

What happens if my referral cancels their subscription?

You keep every commission earned on their past invoices. No future commissions are generated once they cancel. If they resubscribe later within 30 days of clicking a fresh referral link, attribution can start over.

Do you offer higher commission rates for high-volume affiliates?

Not yet — the 20% rate is flat across the board for simplicity. If you're driving 100+ subscribers/month, email support@upfyp.com and we'll discuss custom terms.

Can I refer users who already use upfyp?

No. The attribution system only creates a referral record on fresh signups. Users who already have an account can't be re-attributed to you.

Flat 20% across all plans. No tiering. No caps. You earn every time the referral's card gets charged — monthly or yearly, plus any upgrades or prorated increments. If a user starts on Starter and upgrades to Scale, your commission follows them.

Payout Terms

Minimum: €50 in unpaid commissions before a payout is issued
Frequency: 1st of each month (monthly)
Method: automated Stripe Connect Express transfer to your bank
Processing time: 1–3 business days after the transfer is initiated

If you don't hit €50 in a given month, your commissions roll over to the next month automatically. They never expire as long as your affiliate account remains in good standing.

30-day last-click cookie. When someone clicks your link, we set a cookie tied to your affiliate code. If they sign up within 30 days, the attribution is yours. 'Last-click' means the most recent affiliate click wins if the user has been exposed to multiple links.

We also record the visitor's IP at click time and at signup time for anti-fraud purposes. If both match and the user subscribes within 15 minutes of signing up, the commission goes into 'held for fraud review'. This is rare (a handful of cases) but protects both us and honest affiliates from abuse.

Dashboard & Reporting

Your affiliate dashboard shows, in real time: lifetime earnings, pending payout amount, total paid out, active referrals count, per-referral status (pending/active/churned), and payout history. There's no 24-hour delay like some programs — commissions appear the moment the referred user's invoice is paid.
